Global Studies Guest Speakers: Susan Forbes Martin
Professor Martin is a prominent scholar and author of numerous articles and books on migration, human trafficking, and refugees. She has served as the Executive Director of the U.S. Commission on Immigration Reform and the Director of Research and Programs at the Refugee Policy Group, a Washington-based center for analysis of U.S. and international refugee policy and programs. Dr. Martin was Assistant Professor at the American Studies Department of Brandeis University and Lecturer for the History of American Civilization at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Martin received her B.A. from Rutgers University, and M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.
