Global Studies Guest Speakers: Arn Chorn-Pond
Arn Chorn-Pond is a musician-a native of Cambodia and survivor the Khmer Rouge Killing Fields. He is internationally recognized today as a human rights leader, a peacemaker, and the founder of Cambodian Living Arts ( http://www.cambodianlivingarts.org/people/arnchornpond).
In addition to his GSI lecture, he will engage in other activities on campus. In particular, he will perform and present his worked in Spurlock Museum. In advance of his visit, a public showing of the film "The Flute Player" will take place at the Spurlock Museum.
